To celebrate our 50 episode, we spent some time with one of the most recognized and respected pest professionals on the planet. Jerry Schappert talks with us about his early blogging days, books, pest control business, and his super successful online community.
This Week’s Contributors:
Jerry Schappert (Guest) – A certified pest control operator and Associate Certified Entomologist, Jerry has over two and a half decades of experience from birds to termites and everything in between. He started as a route technician and worked his way up to commercial/national accounts representative. Always learning in his craft, he is familiar with rural pest services and big city control techniques. Jerry has owned and operated a successful pest control company since 1993 in Ocala,Florida. While his knowledge and practical application has benefitted his community Jerry wanted to impart his wisdom on a broader scale to help many more. Pestcemetery.com was born from that idea in 2007 and has been extremely well received.

He has been in the pest control industry for over 25 years. A husband and father of two, Bryan somehow has time to be featured on a local radio show and co-host Arthropodcast.
Steve Jackson (Co-Host) – After selling his pest control business, Steve Jackson moved halfway across the country and became a commercial pest tech for a very large company that starts with the letter “T”. He is a husband and father of two. He enjoys watching college football, catching movies, and learning about his NEW community in Omaha, Nebraska. He also has a weird habit of writing his bios in third person.
